Standard statement

If the Agency authorizes the use of stop sticks/road spikes, it has a written directive and trains its personnel in the use of stop sticks/road spikes, including when and how to safely deploy them.

Each bullet must stand alone when establishing compliance, with proofs identified for every lettered requirement.

2. b.While a higher level of training is always encouraged, the training portion of this standard may be met by showing that officers have received Roll-call Training or a formal Training Bulletin, watched a video, received a copy of a policy which was discussed with or by a Supervisor, or received a copy of a policy and been tested over its content.
