Standard statement

The agency shall have a written directive that specifies policies and procedures to be followed when using informants to include:

Each bullet must stand alone when establishing compliance, with proofs identified for every lettered requirement.

  1. a.a master confidential informant file;
  2. b.information to be included in the file, to include at a minimum biographical and background information, criminal history records, and identifier of the informant;
  3. c.maintenance and security of files;
  4. d.procedures for compensating informants;
  5. e.safeguards and precautions to be taken with informants;
  6. f.procedures for juveniles; and
